Red Raven Softball Season Ends In 1st Round of Region VI Playoffs

The Coffeyville Community College softball team lost in the first round of the Region VI division II playoffs to end their 2017 season.  

The Red Ravens were matched up in a best 2 of 3 series with the Johnson County Caveliers.  The Red Ravens lost the first two games of the series 8-0 and 6-0 to end their season.

Coffeyville's 2017 season ended with an overall record of 12-38 and a KJCCC conference record of 3-19.

Game one saw the Red Ravens lose 8-0 in five innings with sophomore Breanna Bill and freshman Adrienne Myers each getting a hit in the game.  

Freshman Alyssa Dawson was on the mound for the Red Ravens going the complete game five innings allowing 7 earned on 15 hits while striking out 1.

Coffeyville lost game two of the series 6-0 with freshman Mateighia Tanner getting a hit in the game. 

Sophomore Jaycee Forth went the complete game on the mound for the Red Ravens allowing 6 earned on 8 hits while striking out 1.
