
Coffeyville, Kan. - On an afternoon that celebrated the Red Ravens' sophomores, Coffeyville defeated the Trojans of Colby 93-76. With the victory, Coffeyville improved their 23-24 overall record to 12-17 including an 8-15 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) matchups. The 8-15 KJCCC record currently has the Red Ravens in eighth place in the 13-team KJCCC Division I standings.
After being tied 41-41 at halftime, the Red Ravens spread their wings in the second half as they outscored the Trojans 52-35 in the second half to post the 93-76 victory.
Coffeyville had four players in double-digit scoring in the game including freshman Brian Griffith with 25 points, sophomore Cris Carroll with 25 points, freshman Jahni Summers with 20 points, and freshman Charles Caporaso with 14 points.
In between the games, Coffeyville Men's Basketball celebrated their sophomores with a ceremony. Those sophomores included;
