#17 Red Raven Men's Basketball Lose Tough Opening Conference Match-Up Against #2 Hutchinson, Split 1-1 Over Thanksgiving Break

The #17 ranked Red Raven Men's Basketball team played two games over the Thanksgiving holiday break.

Coffeyville opened up their Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schedule on Wednesday, November 27th with the Red Ravens traveling to Hutchinson Kansas to play the #2 ranked Hutchinson Blue Dragons.  In a tough opening conference game, Coffeyville lost 92-71.

Coffeyville placed 4 players in double figures in the game with freshman Tylor Perry leading the way with 18 points, followed by sophomores Manny Crump with 15 and Meikkel Murray with 14, and freshman Tyronn Mosley with 11.

Coffeyville bounced back playing their second KJCCC game of the year in Coffeyville on Saturday, November 30th with a matchup against Northwest Kansas Technical College.  The Red Ravens prevailed 99-64.

Against Northwest Kansas Tech, the Red Ravens had 5 players in double figures including Manny Crump with 17 points, sophomore Kymani Dunham with 16, Tylor Perry with 15, Meikkel Murray with 13 and freshman Bostyn Holt with 10.

The split over the holiday break puts the Ravens overall record at 9-3 and a KJCCC record at 1-1.

Coffeyville will return to action this Wednesday, December 4th with a road game to Great Bend Kansas to play the Barton Cougars.  Game time is set for 7:30 pm.
