In their second top ten matchup of the week and fifth match against a ranked opponent the Ravens shined. Coffeyville put another one in the win column last night against the 10-0 Cougars of Barton. The Ravens came out of the gates strong and hot starting the game on a 10-0 run. Keeping the Cougars at bay all night and keeping the gym loud with excitement. The Ravens Shot over 51% for the first half compared to Bartons 28%. The Ravens dominated the whole stat sheet, out rebounding the Cougars 46-28. With a strong 26 points off the bench, Coffeyvilles strong first half, and huge production from the bench helped Coffeyville cruise into a big Conference win beating the Cougars 90-57.
Johnson (21), Murray (19), and Hutson (14) all had big offensive nights for the Red Ravens. Brewer led the way with eight assists and Crump pulled down 10 rebounds
The Ravens next game is on Saturday December 8th @ Pratt Community College at 2pm.
Game Notes: Jay Herkelman is now eight wins away from tying Francis Flax for the all-time wins record in Region VI and nine away from breaking it.
