#4 Ravens Down #12 Warriors

Red Ravens basketball took on the Indian Hills Warriors, in which was said to be a good match up with both teams being ranked. Coffeyville is 4th in rankings and Indian Hills is 12th in rankings. The Ravens came out on top 87-70 making things look easy yet again.

In the first half The Ravens came out hot shooting 53% from the field and 55% from beyond the arc, holding the Warriors to 38% from the field and from beyond the arc. Marvin Johnson was hot out the gates for the Ravens finishing the half with 17 points carrying the team to a 11 point lead going into half time.

The Ravens came out after the half with the same energy not letting up one bit. Indian Hills got into foul trouble sending the Ravens to line 22 times in just the second half alone. The Ravens kept the lead the whole half going on 18-2 run along the way with their largest lead being 22 points. Marvin Johnson continued to have the hot hand finishing the night with 28 points and 12 of those from beyond the arc, he shot 66% from the field making 10 of his 15 field goals. As a team the ravens shot 50% from the field holding their opponent to 40%.


The Ravens look to extend their win streak to five next week away against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on the road Wednesday November 14th. Go Ravens!
