Javon Harris has been named the Co-Defensive Backs coach for the 2018 season. Originally from Lawton, OK, Harris played his college career at the University of Oklahoma. In the 2018 season, Harris mentored First Team All-KJCCC selection Markquese Bell, Second Team All-KJCCC selections McArthur Burnett and Malik Smith, and Honorable Mention Selections Brion Murray and Troy Simon. This season, Coffeyville's Defensive Backs were known for not only taking the football away from the opposing team, but for taking it to the house. Coffeyville's secondary scored a total of 36 points in 2018.
