In a home and away four-game series against Kansas City Kansas Community College, the Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Baseball Team won three out of four games.  The Red Ravens played two games at home on Thursday, May 6th, with the Ravens winning both games in close one-run fashion 10-9 and 8-7.  The series then traveled to Kansas City on Friday, May 7th, with a scheduled doubleheader that the Ravens split with an 8-3 win and a 15-5 loss.

With the 3-1 record against KCK, the Red Ravens end their regular season with a 25-21 overall record including a 17-15 conference mark.  The 17-15 conference record places them fifth in the KJCCC East and qualifies them to play in the postseason Region VI East #1 Subregional hosted by Cowley College.  The East #1 Subregional will include Cowley College, Dodge City, Barton, and Coffeyville.  Coffeyville will play against Barton in the Subregional on Friday, May 14th at 2:00 pm.

Cowley is hosting one of the four Subregional sites in the Region VI Tournament, the other three sites include Hutchinson, Johnson County, and Seward County.
