The Ravens went 1-2 this weekend at UCO in Edmond, OK. The Red Ravens lost a tough one to Indian Hills Community College 7-3, but come back the next day and beat Clarendon College 9-7 with a huge 5 run 9th inning. In The final game of this weekend showcase the Ravens lost 10-7 to Seminole State College.

The Ravens started the weekend off by playing Indian Hills Community College from Ottumwa, IA. The Ravens starter Aaron Bechtel, threw an amazing game, Giving the Ravens 6.0 innings giving up only 2 runs and racking up 11 strikeouts. Coffeyville entered the 7th with a 3-2 lead but just couldn't hold on tight enough to get the win. Indian Hills scored 5 runs in the top of the seventh and went on to win the game, 7-3.

The Ravens came back the next day ready to go, the sun was shining on the field, crisp air but they were ready to roll. Coffeyville put Jackson Blancarte on the hill against Clarendon. He put up a 5.0 inning start only giving up 2 runs and 5 punch outs. Jorge Ortiz was on fire in the box going 3-5 on the day racking up a big double and driving in 2 RBI's. The Ravens Take the lead in the 9th and win game 2 on the weekend, 9-7.

Coffeyville played Seminole state in their 3rd and final game of the weekend in a big run scoring game. The Ravens starter Matt Hunt slowed up Seminoles run scoring, only giving up 3 earned runs on 5 hits in 6.0 innings. Coffeyville knocked 11 hits driving in 7 runs. The Ravens were lead offensively by Trey McClelland who went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI's, 2 runs and 2 stolen bases. The Ravens fought a tough one but end up dropping their last game on the weekend, 7-10.

The Ravens are back in action again Next Monday, February 25th Northwest Oklahoma JV before they start league play the following saturday!
