Scholarship Info

Athletic Training scholarships are offered each semester to students who are interested in continuing their education in a health-related field (medicine, athletic training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, etc.).  In return for the scholarship, the student is expected to work in the athletic training room helping with the treatment and rehabilitation of student-athletes as well as help with assigned sports coverage. The Athletic Training scholarship provides tuition and the loan of books.  The books must be returned at the end of each semester.  A recipient must maintain a 2.0-grade point average in all college work.  Students who excel academically (3.5 GPA or better in high school) may be eligible for a Presidential Scholarship and participation in the Honors Program. Students must meet participation requirements to maintain their scholarships. Institutional scholarships are valid for 4 semesters upon signing.
