Red Raven Softball got their first Conference sweep against Kansas City Kansas Community College on March 23rd. The Red Ravens took the first game 12-6 and the second 13-8.
In the circle for game one, sophomore Alyssa Dawson gave up 11 hits, 3 walks while striking out 2. In game two, freshman Alexia Taylor gave up 10 hits, 4 walks while striking out 5.
The Red Ravens racked up 30 hits on the day, 13 in the first and 17 in the second. Sophomore Danielle Stover went 6/7 at the plate on the day with 1 RBI and 4 stolen bases while sophomore Reagan Bradley went 6/8 at the plate on the day with 5 RBIs and 4 stolen bases.
Also contributing on the day was sophomore Adrienne Myers went 4/6 with 4 RBIs and 1 home run, freshman Morgan Welch was 2/3 with 2 RBIs, freshman Caitlin Taylor was 3/4 at the plate with 2 home runs, a double, and 3 RBIs. Freshman Hannah Skaggs also added a home run.
The Red Ravens continue conference play on the road Tuesday, March 27th at Labette County.
