The Coffeyville dance team attended UDA College Spirit Camp at the University of Central Missouri July 27th through the 29th. While Coffeyville was there they participated in Game Day Evaluations, where the girls had to react to prompts given by the camp instructors. The dancers had no idea what order the prompts would be given in, much like how a game is unscripted, they had to be prepared for anything. The goal of the camp was to show what the game day experience is like, and what the dancers do on the sidelines.

Coffeyville received a Superior Rating on our game day evaluation, which is the highest rating given out. Coffeyville also received the "Most Improved Award" which is given to the team showing the most improvement from the first to last day of camp, and the "Program Improvement Award"  which is given to the team that has shown the most improvement from last summer.

Coach Jessi Wallance had this to say about the girls performance over the weekend, "UDA camp is always an amazing way to start the season off! Getting to dance alongside dancers from Universities and Colleges all over the region is a great way to show our new members what is means to be a collegiate dancer, and how to be an ambassador for our school! It also allows you to really bond as a team! We cant wait to show Raven Nation all of the awesome material we are bringing back home with us! Its going to be a great season!"
